to your project.
Practical answers about custom cabinetry, drawings, costs, timing, installation and caring for the finished work.
What does Fabbro make?
Fabbro designs, manufactures and installs custom kitchens, fitted wardrobes and bathroom cabinetry. Our interior joinery collection also includes studies, libraries, wall panelling, media units, utility cupboards, bars and fitted storage. Tell us which rooms you would like to include.
Where is Fabbro based?
Our address is 68 Richards Drive, Midrand, Johannesburg, Gauteng, 1685. Call +27 11 312 5038 or email info@fabbro.co.za to discuss your project and arrange a visit.
Can you work from my architect’s drawings?
Send the latest plans, elevations and room photographs with your enquiry. We can discuss the joinery scope, develop the design and identify dimensions and details that need confirmation before manufacture.
How much will custom joinery cost?
The price depends on the dimensions, cabinet layout, materials, door finish, hardware, worktops and fitting requirements. A clear brief helps us prepare a relevant quotation. Request an itemised scope so you can see which finishes, installation work and additional items are included.
Can I see the design before production?
Our design process includes concepts and 3D visualisations. Review the room layout, internal storage, materials and details together, then confirm the approved drawings and finish selections before manufacture.
How long does a project take?
Design, material sourcing, manufacture and installation each need time. The programme depends on project size, selected finishes, availability and site readiness. We confirm the proposed programme with your project; catalogue timings are indicative.
Can the kitchen and other rooms use matching finishes?
Yes. Discuss your kitchen, dressing room, bathroom and living-area cabinetry as one brief. Repeating selected timber tones, door details and handles can connect the rooms while allowing the storage in each space to work differently.
What should I prepare for a quotation?
Include your location, room dimensions or plans, photographs, a few reference images, appliance or basin details, target date and budget if you have one. Our project planner helps put these points into a brief you can copy or email.
Are all gallery images completed Fabbro installations?
The 25 illustrated designs are labelled as design concepts. They help you explore layouts, materials and details for your own brief. The separate kitchen, wardrobe and bathroom collections contain images retained from the existing Fabbro website.
Do I need to choose hardware before manufacture?
The opening method, drawer system and internal fittings affect cabinet planning. Agree the proposed hardware and any required accessories with the layout and quotation before production.
What is included in installation?
Delivery, access, protection, fitting, worktops and connections should be addressed in the agreed scope. Confirm who is responsible for plumbing, electrical work, tiling and other trades, and when the rooms need to be ready.
What about care and aftercare?
Care depends on the specified surfaces, finishes and fittings. Ask for the relevant care instructions at handover and confirm the warranty and support terms in your order. Contact our team if an adjustment or repair is needed.
